Kelly Goodsel is president and CEO of Viking Plastics, Inc. and a member of the ownership group, VPI Acquisition Corp., which purchased the company in August 2006. He joined Viking in 2000 with extensive experience in the plastics industry.

A graduate of Ferris State University with dual degrees in Plastics Engineering and Sales and Marketing, Kelly held various positions with DuPont in sales, marketing, research and development and management. While at DuPont, Kelly also earned his MBA from Temple University.

After DuPont, Kelly joined the Huron Plastics Group, a major supplier of injection-molded plastic components to the automotive industry. Kelly served in sales and general management positions at Huron. Following Huron's acquisition by LDM Technologies, Kelly became vice president and general manager of the Fremont Plastic Products Division of The Plastics Group, a leading blow molding company.

Bob brings more than 30 years of plastics industry sales and marketing experience to Viking Plastics.  After three decades in the plastics molding industry, Holbrook has developed expertise in the selection of materials for applications and its relation to product design and pricing. 

Bob most recently led True Precision Plastics, Lancaster, PA, and had a 26 year history with the woman-owned, Fortune 500-supplier business. He also served as president of York Imperial Plastics, York, PA, for several years.

Lisa joined Viking Plastics’ Customer Service in 2010. Before joining Viking, Lisa was a liaison between laboratories, customers and regulatory agencies for thirteen years.

Greg joined Viking in 1999 and is now VP of Engineering. While at Viking he has gained experience while holding many positions such as, Materials Manager, Director of Operations, and Plant Manager.  Previous plastic industry experience was gained through 12 years of employment at a high volume custom injection molder for the consumer products industry as Engineering Process Lab Supervisor, Engineering Project Manager, and Product Development Engineer.   Greg has an AS degree in Mechanical Engineering and a BS degree in Plastics Engineering from Penn State University. Greg's engineering training and high-volume production environment experience helps Viking drive costs out of the business during product launch and manufacturing.

Jim joined the Viking team in 2011, after seven years of experience with custom injection molders. He also worked for a medical device company for seven years, developing molds and processes for metal injection and plastics injection molding. Jim has an extensive tooling background and worked for a tool shop for four years as a project engineer.

Jim’s improvement contributions for Viking Plastics began in 2001 when he came aboard as Quality Manager. He later led production activities as Manufacturing Manager in 2008/2009 and is the current Director of Quality. He held key management positions with companies such as Federal Mogul Lighting and Electrical, United Technologies Automotive, Newcor Plastronics and NuTec Tooling and Automation Systems. His background includes valuable experience in stamping, coil winding, circuit board sequencing/stuffing, ceramic substrate printing/trimming, pad printing and assembly of electronic products.

Randy joined Viking in 2005, bringing more than 13 years of experience working in quality and engineering at companies specializing in automotive parts, electronics housings and tight tolerance connectors. His experience includes injection and thermal set molding. Randy attended Penn State for GD&T, Materials and Processing training. Other training includes Geometric Design & Technology (including CAM Tech Quality Control), inspection engineering using Zeiss for precision measurement, lean manufacturing, blue print reading and root cause analysis. Randy's other specialized training includes 8D, 6 Sigma, 5 Y and Calibration of Precise Measuring Equipment.

Rob joined the Viking team in 2010, bringing more than 14 years of injection molding management experience. Most recently, Rob held positions as general manager with The Plastek Group and vice president of operations with Erie Plastics. He first gained manufacturing experience while working as a management consultant at Decision Associates, with a primary focus on employee development, training and corporate strategic planning.

Bob joined the Viking team in 2008 with the acquisition of CP Plastics, where he had been the maintenance and tooling manager. Bob began his 22-year career in the plastics industry at Loranger Manufacturing Corporation in the automotive industry. He also worked at Monarch Plastics, where he was the maintenance and processing manager. Bob has vast experience in the automation and technical aspect of the industry.

A graduate of Penn State with an Associate and Bachelor of Plastics Engineering Technology, Shawn has over 12 years of experience working within the medical, automotive and returnable packaging injection molding industries. Shawn has held positions in project management, new product development, production management and process management. Within those roles, he has focused on incorporating systems and standardized processes to reduce waste, ensure quality and increase efficiency.

Michelle joined Viking Plastics in 2002 as the administrative assistant. While at Viking, she has held positions in customer service, with experience in materials, shipping and logistics. In 2011, Michelle moved back into the role of administrative assistant and is responsible for accounts receivable and administrative duties, reporting to the controller and the president.
