CAPABILITIES | Rheological Control Viking continually pushes the envelope, applying advanced technology to ensure the most competitive, highest quality products for our customers. A key example is Rheological Control achieved through Melt Rotation Technologies, such as MeltFlipper ®, developed by Beaumont Technologies (BTI) and implemented at Viking. MeltFlipper ® technologies are implemented into a mold's  runner system with the purpose of controlling one of injection molding's largest variables...viscosity. This helps ensure a consistent and uniform delivery of material properties to and within every cavity at Viking, thus producing higher quality parts at lower costs. In addition, Viking Plastics has implemented BTI's 5 Step Process Systematic Mold Balance Analysis software. This software is used to allow for easier and faster debugging during the initial mold build and sampling process. The 5 Step Process allows for Viking to identify and solve the root causes of mold filling and part quality variations.
