January 19, 2009: Viking Plastics has acquired CP Plastics Group, a plastic injection molder featuring a complete plastic fastener line.  The acquisition also further augments Viking’s extensive custom molding capabilities.

 The acquisition of CP Plastics will compliment the Viking base business and expand the foundation for growth in the newly combined entity and will assist Viking Plastics in their efforts to diversify their business lines, while increasing the facility utilization.  Click here to read the Plastics News article.

May 29, 2008...  VIKING PLASTICS AND POLY-CAST, INC., FORM PARTNERSHIP TO CO-OWN AND OPERATE CHINA-BASED POLY-CAST PLASTICS (SUZHOU) CO., LTD. 

The facility, equipped with state-of-the-art production capabilities and closed-loop process controls, currently supplies the automotive and transportation markets with tight-tolerance, custom-molded components. The new partnership enables both parties to better serve existing multinational customers and expand reach to Asian markets.

- Viking Plastics exhibited at the 2008
MEMA/JAMA Symposium and Workshop June 2-3, 2008.
This was an opportunity for Viking to meet with Japanese OEMs and introduce our capabilities to purchasing and technical executives. Participating OEMs include: Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Isuzu, Suzuki, Daihatsu, Subaru, Fuso and Hino Motors.
