Shawn has been a member of the Viking Plastics team since 2005. Currently Shawn serves as the Engineering Manager and works to deploy state-of-the-art CAE and molding technologies (RJG) so that programs launch and continue into production with success. In addition, he has a passion for team and culture development and spends time working with all departments to instill a culture of continuous improvement at Viking Plastics.

A graduate of Penn State Erie with AS and BS degrees in plastics engineering technology, Shawn approaches new products with a perfect quality mindset and desire to eliminate waste.

Jesse BarberSenior Program Manager

Jesse joined Viking Plastics in 2015 as a Senior Program Manager. Jesse has a bachelor’s degree in plastics engineering and a certificate in project management from Penn State as well as over 15 years’ experience in the plastics industry. Jesse manages molding and assembly programs primarily for the automotive industry, from design for manufacturing and assembly optimization through production launch. He is most passionate about growing Viking’s business through service and quality, which all starts with staying abreast on the latest technologies and educating customers on the value of high quality tooling and automation.

Corey LindenSenior Program Manager

Corey is a Senior Program Manager for Viking Plastics and started in October 2016. He has a varied background background in plastics processing, R&D, and software. Corey has 15 years of experience in project, program, and portfolio management across all major market areas. His current role is to ensure Viking delivers repeatable quality parts that meet and exceed the customers’ expectations and taking new programs from concept to reality. Corey is passionate about working with the engineering team and the larger business to continue towards excellence with plastics production and the lean journey.

Steve MixterSenior Program Manager

Steve joined the Viking Plastics team in January 2018.  As a Senior Program Manager, Steve manages product launches and handles face to face customer meetings on engineering projects.  Steve has 34 years of experience in the automotive supplier business. His favorite part about his current position is helping to grow the business.  Steve has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Dan GatesCost Estimator

Dan is the Cost Estimator at Viking Plastics and has been here for over seven years. Dan receives all the RFQ’s, either directly, through customer service, sales reps, or management. He records these RFQ’s and works up pricing, whether it be product, tooling, assembly, or repairs. Dan has worked a lot of different places over the years, but says it is hard to think of a better place to work than Viking Plastics, right here in his hometown of Corry, PA.

Rene MenjivarProgram Manager

Rene has been at Viking Plastics since 2012. As a Viking Program Manager, Rene is responsible for coordinating internal Viking resources in an effort to exceed customer’s expectation on new product launches. Rene is passionate about growing business with existing customers. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2012, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in management.


Isaiah NordlandProject Coordinator

Isaiah joined the Viking Plastics team in January 2018. As Project Coordinator,  Isaiah maintains the APQP database, facilitates communication for EPC, and assists our project managers on a number of program tasks. He ensures we are meeting industry standards and customer expectations, and that everyone on the team stays informed about what is going on. Isaiah interned at Viking Plastics during college, and after he graduated, worked for Whirley-Drinkworks in injection molding, blow molding, and printing and assembly. Isaiah has a bachelor’s degree from Bob Jones University in South Carolina.
