  • Managing all phases of jobs assigned to him to assure on time delivery
  • Attending tooling kick off meetings and preliminary design reviews to make recommendations

CNC EDM Operator

JOB TITLE: CNC EDM Operator
REPORTS TO: Tooling Manager

  • Choosing the correct program and set-up for each item given to burn
  • Checking parts and documenting inspection numbers

Information Technology

Viking IT Support Specialist

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to oversee computer systems and offer end-user support. The individual will report to the IT Manager, but their duties will often be performed with minimal supervision. Travel (one week per month) and some flexible work hours are required.

The successful candidate’s main duty will be to assist users with issues dealing with software and hardware (such as PCs, printers, and handheld devices). The specialist will keep systems updated and running smoothly. They will also be asked to conduct research and provide cost analysis data when upgrading or purchasing new systems or equipment. They may be tasked with overseeing data and responsibility includes maintaining, backing up and securing data, as well as restoring files as needed.

A successful IT Support Specialist will be technologically savvy and enjoy assisting and teaching others. They will have excellent communication skills and keep up to date on the latest developments and trends in the industry. Other necessary skills include having a working knowledge of common information technologies and systems, Windows 10, MS Office 365, Email Setup, TCP/IP, PC Troubleshooting, basic OS troubleshooting.

SUMMARY: Candidates should be dynamic QE’s who have a passion for continuous improvement of our manufacturing process. Material Handler

JOB TITLE: Material Handler

SUMMARY:  This position will be responsible for handling material and finished product

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain work areas in professional manner
  • Pull sample material at beginning of each production job for moisture inspection
  • Check all material at machines at least twice a shift and replenish as necessary
  • Locate jobs and required material on computer
  • Properly mix material for each job according to prescribed recipe
  • Prepare special material for samples
  • Identify proper dryer size for each job and prepare dryer for use
  • Perform material set-ups and line clearances at presses as required
  • Assist Shipping personnel in pulling production for shipments when required
  • Move full skids of production parts from the floor to proper warehouse location and document in Syteline
  • Ensure all completed production jobs are moved to the proper location and documented in Syteline
  • Assist warehouse personnel with loading and unloading of trucks as required

  • Make adjustments to correct/prevent parts defects.
  • Maintain and improve manufacturing efficiencies (more good parts per hour)
  • Assure IATF 16949 compliance through procedure adherence and paperwork flow
  • Maintain and improve cleanliness and orderliness in the area
  • Perform housekeeping chores as department requirements dictate.
  • Attend training as required.
  • Assist in covering the manufacturing floor on weekends

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Two to three years of injection molding processing experience
  • Good mechanical ability and aptitude is essential in this
  • Preferred that position has RJG experience

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Working Knowledge of ERP systems and of Windows based computer programs are helpful in performing the duties of this position.
