May 17, 2022 – Viking Plastics, a leading injection molding and value-added assembly service provider to the automotive, appliance, industrial, and construction markets, is excited to announce they are adding capacity due to customer growth.
Since the start of the year, the company has ordered eight new injection molding machines, ranging from 197T to 618T and added many new employees, in various positions, to manage growth. Additionally, a host of secondary and support equipment has also been purchased to support the new presses.

Viking has averaged 0.50 PPM defective rate over the past 3 years.
“Viking Plastics continues to invest in new equipment to support the auto industry transition into electrified vehicles and our continued growth in the HVAC market,” said President/CEO Kelly Goodsel. “I’m extremely proud of the Viking Plastics team for their hard work and dedication to support this expansion. It takes a hundreds of individuals focused on the customer and great quality when it comes to growing operations and meeting customer demands, and the Viking Plastics team is one of the best.”
The company anticipates continued growth and plans to purchase additional machines by end of 2022 and into 2023.
